C.R. So tell us a little about yourself Myisha.

M.C.T. Hi Flourishe! My name is Myisha Croom- Turner and I'm the owner and designer behind Bohemian Spirit Jewelry. I began designing jewelry over 10 years ago for the fun of it, and now my passion has become my full-time job! I truly enjoy what I do and I work very hard at putting all of my creative energy and passion into the jewelry I create. Although I love my work, I have several other passions and loves. God, my husband, my 11 year old son, coffee, Anthropologie, blogs, book stores, fresh flowers, organization, fall mornings, my blackberry, date nights, and girlfriend getaways :)

C.R. What is the inspiraton behind Bohemian Spirit Jewelry?

M.C.T I'm a bohemian spirit through and through so I've always been inspired to create pieces that fit my style and personality. When I couldn't find any bohemian style baubles 10+ years ago, I was inspired to create my own. Now I focus on designing unique pieces that make me feel free to be the boho gal that I am. I believe there are several women in the world who have that bohemian mentality where they just want to wear things that make them feel comfortable, inspired, and also fashionable. To me that translates into affordable, natural, and funky pieces that always have that unusual factor that makes people take notice. The tagline for my company is {be unique} {be free} {be bohemian}.

C.R. What type of women are your products designed for?

M.C.T. My product is designed for women who aren't afraid to step away from the "matchy matchy" wardrobe. I don't need to create "sets" because all of my pieces can stand alone and are unique, just like the women who are drawn to them.

C.R. Do you have any upcoming events you'd like to share with us?

M.C.T. Bohemian Spirit Jewlery is available for viewing in my studio Monday through Wednesday in Claremont, California (by appointment only), or in my online shop.
