February 24, 2012 "Hi my name is Vanessa Jackson.. I currently live in the Spokane Washington area, I'm originally from Southern California. I had a very intense yet calm conversation with Cortney Ren'ae from flourish this morning.. SO this is my testimony.. My life has been a major contrast of things. But every time a situation came about in my life that was dampering to my spirits I was sent an invitation from God to pick them right back up again. I have lost my mother at a young age father was never there. But there were other people who were there for me, like I said for every situation. I had a god mom at prom. I had a god uncle at my bedside when delivering my baby.. four years after having my daughter her father was killed in Rancho Cucamonga age 25 leaving me no choice but to go on with my life and use my strength. My daughter knows everything about her life and mine and she also excepts it. No matter how a normal day goes she is there with a positive way to deal with a new day. i must say even your child can be your counselor . I didn't share everything about my life of course but i would to ones that could benefit if they were to listen...So I was in turmoil and could not sleep this morning and it had been a repeat of this for weeks. I called Cortney and within the first seven mins of my conversation with her my heart slowed down to a peaceful beat. I did continue talking to her for one hour 29minutes to be exact, LOL .. She listened to me very carefully. She didnt judge me.. My friends and what little family i do have are there but Cortney was a new spirit and a new ear..I value every word that came out of her mouth because it was from the warmest part of her heart. I hope that more women that are going through fear, self esteem issues, confusion, heart ache, and tragic situations reach their arms out and grab hold of someone within Women's Empowerment that understand clearly.. Can you imagine someone that needed to talk but couldn't trust anyone.. This is the right place..Can you imagine being on the edge of the mental cliff..physically wanting to kill yourself. Cortney couldve saved my life already.. its not just about today its about what someone is capable of tomorrow.. speak with Women of Empowerement as soon as you can and Flourishe your soul ..Amen!!" -Vanessa Jackson
